I can’t believe it’s been 2 months since I have caught up with you all! 2016 was such a whirlwind of excitement for me! It was my first full year in business & my first full wedding season! I cannot express enough how lucky I have been with having the most incredible brides & clients! Along with learning how to balance sessions, weddings, my full time nursing job & editing, I also have been soaking up every minute of my first pregnancy & all the excitement that comes along with that! I promised a blog to bring you all up to speed with what 2017 will look like & wanted to give you a little peek into what we have been up to over the last few months!
As far as bookings go, I am currently not booking any sessions until about a month before I return from maternity leave. We are in our 9th month of pregnancy & can expect her arrival at any time now! I plan to take the full 12 weeks off before returning. As always, I will update you all leading up to when I am coming back & am hoping to put together a mini session marathon to kick things off!
As for weddings, I still have a ton of inquiries rolling in but have actually closed 2017 wedding bookings! With as quickly as the 2017 wedding season filled up, I can’t express enough, if you’re planning your 2018 wedding, it’s never too early to send an inquiry or nail down a date! Working with brides might be my favorite part of photography, I love when I get to help your vision of your special day come alive!
I am hoping to share a blog at least once a week highlighting some of my favorite sessions & weddings I had throughout 2016! With this fall being as hectic as it was, I wasn’t able to share nearly as many images as I wanted to, so keep your eyes peeled for those! 🙂
To cap things off, I wanted to share a little snippet of our nursery that we worked on throughout the winter! I can’t believe within the next few weeks we will be bringing her home! As always, thank you all for your constant positive comments and continued support! I feel so blessed to be able to call something I enjoy as much as I do, work.
