I first heard about Nate & Whitney when my sister was telling me about her new friend Whitney & her boyfriend, Nathan Whitney. We joked about how funny it would be if the two ever got married and how her name would be “Whitney Whitney.” I remember to this day her response to that was “They will get married, they’re perfect for one another.” Fast forward a few years and here I am, photographing these two as they say their vows. Their day was nothing short of perfection. Whitney started out getting ready at the most beautiful lake house in Pleasant Lake. A huge thank you goes out to the owners who didn’t mind me moving all of their furniture for some beautiful getting ready shots! They tied the knot at Jackson’s Church of Nazarene then we all headed to Ella Sharp Museum for bridal portraits where a random ice cream truck made a debut & supplied the entire party with treats! The two finished their evening celebrating with all of their family and friends at the Potter’s Center. There is something special about photographing such important moments for friends, thank you both for trusting me with your memories.
