I am a registered nurse here in Jackson, Michigan and have found a love for photography! I never anticipated when graduating college and starting my career that I would find a second career that would quickly turn into a passion! Photography is my creative outlet and is what keeps me going. I always look forward to each and every shoot that I have! I love the challenges of new locations and different lighting, I love the adrenaline I get when shooting a wedding & knowing there are shots that I absolutely cannot miss! And most importantly, I love the connections that I have made because of photography, the friendships I have made & the happiness it has brought me.
Along with being a nurse and photographer, I am also a wife & a dog-mom to our fur baby Gracie! My husband has been so supportive throughout this whole journey! My “work” usually doesn’t end after the session ends – I spend most nights with my face buried in my MacBook & he doesn’t give me too hard of a time over it… Most days 😉
I cannot believe I am sitting here, writing a blog for my very own website! This was a big dream of mine – I had seen so many gorgeous sites but never thought I would ever really love my own website. I contacted Haley Barrett, who I did family pictures for this past fall, remembering that she mentioned her line of work in graphic & web design. I am SO happy I reached out to her! I have had more fun working with her creating my new brand & website than you can imagine! She literally took every single thing I told her and brought it to life!
